Our goal: 40 million Kurds worldwide – 40 million euros for the foundation and endowment of the first International Kurdish University in Germany. With your donation we lay the foundation stone: First for the foundation of the IKHS.DE – the first Kurdish-language university in Germany. Then we will establish a charitable foundationwhich permanent scholarships for students financed. This means that every year we can Scholarships at the IKHS.DE so that young Kurds can study in their language in Germany.

Become part of the movement – as much as €1 per month, but with effect for a year.

Finance the translation of an article into Kurdish. This is how our digital vocabulary grows – contribution by contribution.

Support the development of a teaching module in Kurdology. So that the Kurdish language is scientifically sound.
Donate as much as education is worth to you.
With 100 € you finance a digital academic book in Kurdish.
With 750 € you finance a scholarship place in Kurdology for one month.
With € 1,000 to equip a digital workplace for students.
With € 2,500 you finance a project work or research trip for young Kurds.
With 10.000 € you finance a whole year’s scholarship for Kurds.
With €50,000 you can fully equip a seminar room – with technology, tables, etc.
With 250,000 € you finance a Kurdish chair.
With 500,000 € you secure the start of the Kurdology degree program.

The non-profit status of ikuas e.V. has been applied for. Donation receipts can be issued retroactively after recognition. For amounts up to €300, the bank statement or transfer receipt is sufficient for submission to the tax office. For donations of €300 or more, we will be happy to issue you with a formal donation receipt – please include your address or e-mail address in the reference field.

Frequently asked questions
What will my donation be used for?
Your donation will initially go towards the establishment of the International Kurdish University Germany (IKHS.DE) – i.e. the legal structure, accreditation, study programs, infrastructure and staff.
The remaining amount will then be transferred to a non-profit foundation that will permanently finance scholarships for Kurdish students.
Is my donation tax-deductible in Germany?
ikuas e.V. has already applied for charitable status. As soon as it is officially recognized, we will issue retroactive donation receipts for the current calendar year.
For amounts up to €300, the bank statement is sufficient proof. For donations over €300, we can issue a formal donation receipt on request – please enter your address or email in the purpose field.
How can I donate?
You can donate in two ways:

Can I set the donation amount myself?
Yes, with our general donation button you choose the amount yourself – every contribution helps, whether it’s €12, €12o, €1,200 or more.
How do I find out what happens to the donations?
We regularly publish project updates and milestones on our website. We also inform supporters directly about progress, partnerships and the development of the university.
Can I donate specifically for a scholarship or a chair?
Yes, you can specify a purpose when donating, e.g. “Scholarship fund” or “Chair development”. For larger amounts, we will also be happy to advise you personally on individual funding formats.
